doTERRA Ranks and Income Levels

What are doTERRA Ranks?

doTERRA ranks are levels that you reach as you build your downline organization.

Rank is important because you need to hold a certain rank to be eligible to receive compensation from the various levels of doTERRA’s Unilevel compensation plan (see image below).

Your rank also determines your eligibility to participate in doTERRA's various Leadership (corporate profit sharing) pools which I will go over onmy page: doTerra leadership pools. 

In this article I go over doTERRA ranks and  the qualifications you need to acquire each rank. These qualifications must be met each month to receive the unilevel bonuses available to that rank. 

Until you become more familiar with it, the ranking system can seem  somewhat overwhelming. So I suggest you focus on. . . 

  1. Qualifying for all bonuses your current rank allows you to receive and
  2. Moving up to the next rank

Please note that, as long as you meet the qualifications for these bonuses, all ranks are eligible to receive commissions from. . .

  • Retail sales
  • Fast-start bonuses and
  • Power-of-3 bonuses

As long as you meet the qualifications for these bonuses, ALL ranks in doTERRA are eligible to receive commissions from Retail Sales, Fast-Start Bonuses, and Power-of-3 Bonuses. 

The doTERRA Ranks

There are 15 different ranks in doTERRA. In ascending order they are:

  1. Wellness Advocate
  2. Manager
  3. Director
  4. Executive
  5. Elite
  6. Premier
  7. Silver
  8. Gold
  9. Platinum
  10. Diamond
  11. Blue Diamond
  12. Presidential Diamond
  13. Double Diamond
  14. Double Blue Diamond
  15. Double Presidential Diamond

Rank Qualifications and Income

1. WELLNES ADVOCATE: The first rank in doTERRA is Wellness Advocate.  You become a Wellness Advocate when you sign up with doTERRA. As a Wellness Advocate you are eligible to receive a 2% unilevel bonus on all PV purchased on your first level.

Qualifications: To qualify for this bonus each month, you must purchase at least 50 PV.

Sign Up for the Loyalty Rewards Program 

You do not need to purchase your qualifying PV through doTERRA's Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP).  However I strongly suggest that you do, since purchasing requirements need to be met each month to maintain your rank and your eligibility to receive your bonuses. When you make monthly purchases through the LRP, you also qualify to receive free product. 

2. MANAGER:  The second doTERRA rank is Manager. As a manager you are eligible to receive a 2% commission on all PV purchased on your first level and a 3% commission on all PV purchased on your second level.

Qualifications:  You qualify as a manager when you purchase at least 100 PV, and have an organizational volume or OV (your collective team volume) of at least 500 PV.

3. DIRECTOR: At the rank of Director you are eligible to receive a 2% commission on your first level, a 3% commission on your 2nd level and a 5% commission on your third level.

Qualifications:  You qualify for the rank of  Director when you purchase at least 100 PV, and have an OV of at least 1000 PV.

4. EXECUTIVE:  At the rank of Executive you are eligible to receive all commissions on your first through your third level plus a 5% commission on all PV purchased on your fourth level.

Qualifications:  You qualify for the rank of Executive when you purchase at least 100 PV, and have an OV of 2000 PV.

5. ELITE: At the rank of Elite you are eligible to receive all commissions on your first 4 levels as well as a 6% commission on your 5th level.

Qualifications:  You qualify for the rank of  Elite when you purchase at least 100 PV, and have an OV of at least 3,000 PV.

6. PREMIER:  At the rank of Premier, you are eligible to receive the same commissions as an Elite on your first 5 levels as well as a 6% commission on your 6th level.

Qualifications: You qualify for the rank of Premier when you purchase at least 100 PV, and have an OV (team volume) of 5000 PV. 

You must also have 2 people in your organization who hold the rank of Executive. These executives must have been personally enrolled by you and must have been placed in separate legs of your organization.

Leadership Pool Eligibility

Once you achieve the rank of premier or above you are eligible to participate in doTERRA’s Leadership (corporate profit sharing) pools.  These pools are explained in this article.

7. SILVER: Once you achieve the rank of Silver your are eligible to receive commissions on all 7 levels of doTERRA's unilevel compensation plan.

That is, you will receive a 2% commission on all PV purchased on your 1st level, a 3% commission on all PV purchased on your 2nd level, a 5% commission on all PV purchased on your 3rd and 4th levels. a 6% commission on all PV purchased on your 5th and 6th levels and a 7% commission on all PV purchased on your 7th level.

In addition, you become eligible to participate in 2 separate leadership (corporate profit sharing) pools: You receive one share of both the Empowerment pool and the Leadership performance pool (see image below).

Qualifications: You achieve the rank of Silver when you purchase at least 100 PV, and have 3 personally enrolled wellness advocates who have qualified for the rank of Elite and are located in separate legs of your organization.

BONUS 

Once you achieve the rank of Silver, doTERRA will assign an account manager to you.  This person will help you structure your organization in a manner that will allow you to receive the maximum compensation possible each month!

Leadership pools

8. GOLD: As a Gold, you are eligible to receive commissions at all levels of the unilevel bonus plan. You also receive 1 share of the Empowerment pool and 5 shares of the Leadership Performance pool

Qualifications: You become a Gold when you purchase at least 100 PV. And have 3 personally enrolled Premiers in separate legs of your organization. 

9. PLATINUM: As a platinum you are eligible to receive compensation on all 7 levels of the unilevel bonus plan and 10 shares of the Leadership performance pool

Qualifications: You achieve the rank of Platinum when you purchase at least 100 PV. And have at least 3 personally enrolled Silvers placed in separate legs of your organization.

10. DIAMOND: As a diamond you are eligible to receive commissions on all 7 levels of the unilevel bonus plan as well as 1 share of the Diamond Performance pool and 3 shares of the Diamond pool.

Qualifications: You become a Diamond when you purchase at least 100 PV and have 4 personally enrolled Silvers placed in separate legs of your organization.

11. BLUE DIAMOND: As a Blue Diamond you are eligible to receive commissions on all 7 levels of the unilevel bonus plan as well as 2 shares of the Diamond Performance pool and and 3 shares of the Blue Diamond pool.

Qualifications: You become a Blue Diamond when you purchase at least 100 PV. And have 5 personally enrolled Golds in separate legs of your organization

12. PRESIDENTIAL DIAMOND: As a Presidential Diamond you are eligible to receive commissions on all levels of the unilevel bonus plan as well as 3 shares of the Diamond Performance pool and 3 shares of the Presidential Diamond pool.

Qualifications: You become a Presidential Diamond when you purchase at least 100 PV and have 6 personally enrolled Platinums placed in separate legs of your organization.

13. DOUBLE DIAMOND:  Once you reach the rank of Presidential Diamond, you the opportunity to start a second account. You advance to Double Diamond when the second account reaches Diamond.

14. DOUBLE BLUE DIAMOND: Double Blue is achieved when a Double Diamond’s second account reaches Blue Diamond.

15. DOUBLE PRESIDENTIAL DIAMOND: Double Presidential is reached when your second account reaches Presidential Diamond

So how much money does each rank receive per month?

Average Monthly Income for . . 

  • Elite = $365/month
  • Premier = $939/month
  • Silver = $2296/month
  • Gold = $4875/month
  • Platinum = $9414/month
  • Diamond = $16814/month
  • Blue Diamond = $38,638/month
  • Presidential Diamond = $104,965/month
